Social Organizations and how to set them up? By Pastor Andriy Kuksenko

…be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves. Matthew 10:16
…for the children of this world are in their generation wiser than the children of light. Luke 16:8

The church and Christians usually present the Gospel in a direct way as a result of which only about 1 out of 10 people will be open to the Gospel, whereas 9 out ten 10 people will refuse it. Only people, for instance drug addicts and alcoholics, who have been battered and bruised in their lives
are in a state of brokenness where they are willingto accept the Gospel. They have a need and the Gospel meets their need. The other 9 out of 10 people are not conscious of any need that the church or Jesus could meet, and therefore are unwilling tocome to Him.

Pastor Kuksenko was one of those 9 out of 10 people who were unwilling to come to Christ. The only reason he came one day to the church was because his sister had asked him to translate the manual of a keyboard they had just purchased to the church. He was the only one who could translate the manual, so he came to do it. The youth pastor met him first and talked with him and prayed for him. He didn’t really care about it; he just wanted to translate the manual.
Sometime later on he wanted to go home but didn’t have the key with him. He remembered that his mother and sister were at the church so he went to get the key. They didn’t come to give it and the ushers “pushed” him in. During Pastor Adelaja’s sermon God touched him and he gave his life to
The point is that we are called to be wise as serpents. All too often however, we are only simple as doves. God wants to save everyone but because we lack wisdom they perish. The church has become irrelevant to society – people feel that it does not offer them anything they need.
The lack of good leaders with Kingdom values will always result in the increase of sin and lawlessness. If good leaders will not fill the vacuum a multitude of bad leaders will. The smartest people of a group are nearly always “devils” and they will quickly influence people around them.
When Satan rebelled a third of the angels followed him – he knows how to influence. Every person is either a leader or a follower. There is no middle ground because wherever there are people some will rise up to lead and others will submit to their leadership. Those who rebel will eventually gather around them other people whom they will begin to lead. Our goal as the church should be to raise good leaders with Kingdom values.

Social organizations
In order for us to transform people we need to find out what their needs are. If you become relevant to non-believers they will come to you and even bring their friends along with them. The key is this: we need to find out the needs of people and then take time to study and research possible solutions.
Check to see whether the solutions are in accordance with the Bible, in other words, whether they are based on Kingdom principles. Prepare a curriculum or program and begin to teach them these Kingdom principles in an understandable, non-religious language. Don’t try to evangelize them
during classes, just give them the solutions to their problems. If people find your teaching good, if it makes sense to them and if a relationship between you and them begins to form they will come week after week to hear more. They will also talk about what you have taught with their friends and bring them along.

Preferably, hold the meetings at a church building so that people get used to coming into a church.
It is important that the course is long enough so that you have time to build relationships with the people. It is vital that the people begin to trust you.

You need to first properly study the area you are going to teach. Don’t try to take a shortcut. The difference between a novice and specialist is the space between them. Therefore study and learn all that you need to learn about the problem and its solution step-by-step and you will become a specialist. Once you have taught your students step-by-step they too will be able to teach others, and thus they will take the message forward.

Pastor Kuksenko assured us that this method works. According to him this method produces quality believers. He and his wife teach a course that prepares people for marriage. Most people who come for the course are unbelievers. By the end of it they have all come to Christ Jesus.
You of course need to pray and fast a lot, but you also need to work a lot. You need God’s power and wisdom to do this, therefore pray a lot. God will give you what you need for doing the job, therefore work diligently. Don’t expect God to do the work for you, but expect Him to be with you and help you as you do it. There is a time to pray and there is a time to act.

Gain wisdom from others! Read books about national transformation and other subjects that will help you in setting up your social organization. There is a saying: “If you want to succeed in what someone did; do at least what they did”
Key points to set up a social organization:
 Find out a particular need
Take 3 – 4 months to find out and research possiblesolutions to the problem
Shut yourself in with God, pray and ask Him which solutions are the best
Prepare a step-by-step program where you demonstrate to people the solution to their problem – teach Kingdom principles in simple terms without religious language
Meet weekly at a church for at least 2 – 3 months
When the course ends it is easy to direct the students to small groups in your church because by then the students trust you. The groups take responsibility for discipling your students.
