This week the weekly magazine "Afisha" has published results of an internet public opinion poll "Faces of Kiev" dedicated to celebration of the Day of Kiev (http://kiev.afisha.ua/bestpeople).

This is such a splendid victory and as a result 45% of all votes were given for the Pastor of the Embassy of God church –Sunday Adelaja.

"From the bottom of my heart I would like to thank everyone who has made their choice voting for me. In spite of the political populism and confrontation from the side of ill-wishers voting has defined not politicians’ choice, but the choice of Kiev residents. I thank you sincerely for all your commentaries that clearly demonstrate the reason of your choice. Undoubtedly, this fact shows your active social position and freedom of your choice that is the main impetus of democratic state. I value very much your trust and support. I also want to express my gratitude to those who made this project come true"- Pastor Sunday Adelaja stated.

The Embassy of God church sees itself in the epicenter of progressive changes for the benefit of Ukraine. The Embassy of God church has opened 700 branches in 35 countries of the world. 217 rehabilitation centers are functioning and as a result 5000 people have been set free from alcoholic and drug addiction. There are 600 social organizations and charitable funds, 105 educational centers. 

Social work is conducted in 26 educational centers that reach 170 thousand people. The church conducts its work in 108 children’s homes and orphanages reaching 170 thousand children, in 35 nursery homes helping 65 thousand aged people. The Embassy of God church provides assistance for 27 hospitals reaching 30 thousand people.  Churches are opened in 30 prisons with 10 thousand of members all together. Every day the Embassy of God church touches lives of more than 1 million people through its activity, annually – more than 5 million people.

Pastor Sunday Adelaja says:" May all people know through your life that God is the living God! I always pray for Ukraine, its prosperity, political and economical stability, and God’s blessing on every person!".
