Kherson youth created a Club of volunteers
Successful young people created a Kherson Club of volunteers whose first meeting was held at the local boarding school for orphans named after Taras Shevchenko.
During the meeting all participants agreed on the need to direct their own efforts to the development of spiritual and emotional potential of orphans.
Olga Nagnibeda, Deputy Chief of Department of Foreign Economic Relations LLC ‘Mechanical Plant, an initiator of the first meeting of Kherson city Club of volunteers said, ‘We believe that thanks to the Club work graduates of boarding schools will become sterling and positive members of society, capable to take care of themselves and other people independently’.
Addressing the audience, Irina Kucherova, a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley, who is the main initiator of the Club and the project «KIDSMADE», said that she was pleased by participation of new volunteers in fate of children without parents and their indifferent attitude towards fate of each child.
Among the projects of the Club that Kherson volunteers approved and committed to implement are knitting class, hairdressing and manicure classes, art master classes in sculpting, sewing dolls, playing musical instruments, film club.
In particular, Yana Krivoborodko, an engineer of the Department of development of the company ‘Danone’, proposed variants for new workshops for children on decorative knitting, clay modelling. In addition, Yana told about opportunities for children to earn their own pocket money by selling its products distributed in a number of shops.
Moreover, the first meeting was participated by an American guest of the, Kevin Nivinskas, Project Manager of ‘Studio E Architects’ (San Diego, USA). Ustin Maltsev, Head of the Charitable Foundation and Xenia Golubeva, owner of the salon ‘Xenia’, friends of the Club from Kherson, pledged their help and support to Kherson volunteers.

Ukrainian mass media report that at present time the company is negotiating with consumers at the market of Poland. It is worth reminding that at the end of 2010 «DFEC Power trade» company (Donetsk) won tender on electricity export to Poland.
An artist from Ivano-Frankivsk paint a EURO-2012 picture sized a two-storied building
Roman Bonchuk, an artist from Ivano-Frankivsk, is painting a EURO-2012 picture whose size will be equal to a façade of a two-storied building. Local mass media report that the masterpiece will feature half a thousand football heroes on 19 separate canvases. Roman has been working on the picture for half a year. The whole canvas creating will take 200 liters of paint and 100 meters of linen. The idea is realized at the own expense of the artist. After being presented the picture panorama will tour around all cities hosting EURO-2012.
Religious community of evangelic Christian-Baptist church «Fimiam» celebrated an opening of the charitable complex premise. Local mass media report that the holiday program includes solemn church service, festive tea party, youth football tournament, games and competitions among children and adults. The holiday was finished with a concert program, demonstration of video clips on social matters and testimonies of people who by faith in God could give up bad habits.
Inhabitants of Kyiv will be involved in branding of the capitalSeptember,30-February,15 Kyiv will implement a contest on the best tourist slogan and logo of the city to be used in communication and advertising measures that, in turn, will promote forming positive image of the capital abroad and increasing attractiveness on the tourist arena. Local mass media report that the contest will be organized in three stages: selection of the best 10 works, voting by the city residents for the chosen works and assessment of logo and slogan by foreigners. The winner will be an author will collect maximum votes on results of the second and third stages. The winner’s creativity will be valued at $600.
