At the World Championship on box, held in Baku, Ukrainian boxers won four
golden and 1 silver medals. Ukrainian mass media report that such an
incredible success brought Ukraine the first team event at the world
championship. According the Ukrainian Boxing Federation Ukrainian boxers
could not achieve the result either for the whole period of Independent
Ukraine or during times of the Soviet Union. Totally the national boxers
got six licenses for participation in the Olympic Games-2012 held in
London.

Nazar Pavliv, an inhabitant of Ivano-Frankivsk, set up a record of
Ukraine, he managed to haul 38 tons of cargo for 8.5m within 49 seconds.
Local mass media report that by the result Nazar wanted to demonstrate that

The oldest code of legal norms of the Kievan Rus of XI century, Russkaya
Pravda, was restored in Kyiv. Local mass media report that an author and
idea realizer, a famous Kyiv lawyer Yuriy Kharapay, finished the three-year
work on recreating the manuscript of Russkaya Pravda. The idea was realized
in the framework of «Handwritten heritage» aimed at annual creation and
presentation of regular copy of the Old Russian manuscript. The
presentation of the manuscript of Russkaya Pravda and above 100 other works
by Yuriy Khrapay will be organized at the personal exhibition in the Kyiv
gallery by Olha Bohomolets from October,26 till November,3.
Berdychiv caught Malaysia’s fancyMalaysia, represented by the Ambassador in Ukraine Chua Teong Ban,
expressed its desire to come learn more about economic potential of the
city of Berdychiv (Zhytomyr region). Local mass media report that the city
authorities offered the potential Malaysian partners to consider
opportunities to cooperate in the sphere of producing electric devices,
conditioners, and woodworking industry. The bilateral meeting was resulted
in an agreement to organize business meetings participated by entrepreneurs
of the two countries in the nearest future.
